The working principle of a drain valve mainly relies on the gravity of the medium itself and pressure changes in the pipeline system to automatically open the valve and discharge condensed water. After passing through the valve, the condensed water will gradually be discharged from the outlet pipe due to the decrease in flow rate. When the liquid level of condensed water reaches a certain value (usually the minimum flow orifice plate), the electric contact type floating ball drain valve starts to operate. Under the action of spring force or self weight, the outlet channel is closed while the inlet channel is opened, and the condensed water flows into the main pipeline to continue running; If the liquid level rises to the maximum working water level, stop draining and sound an alarm.
